Seeds East Reduces Hours of Operation for Free GED Tutoring

(Cleveland, 05-01-2023) In a message to stakeholders, Seeds of Literacy President & CEO Bonnie Entler announced a reduction of hours, eliminating the evening session at the organization’s Kinsman location (Seeds East).

Thursday, May 11, 2023 will be the final evening tutoring class time.

“We haven’t seen the demand for evening tutoring by students in that area since we reopened post-COVID,” she said. “We know the need for literacy services remains great in the Kinsman area and we will continue to provide tutoring during the day.”

  • Mornings 9am-11am
  • Afternoons 1pm-3pm

At Seeds West and in the Virtual Classroom, the organization will continue to operate on a 12-hour schedule.

Monday-Thursday

  • Mornings 9am-11am
  • Afternoons 1pm-3pm
  • Evening 6pm-8pm

Orientation for new students is offered:

  • Virtual: Mondays at 11am or 6pm
  • West: Tuesdays at 1pm, on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5pm
