Bonnie Entler Named State Administrator of the Year

Bonnie Entler, Executive Director of Seeds of Literacy, received the Sharon Stubbs-Davis Award for State Administrator of the Year from the Ohio Association for Adult and Continuing Education (OAACE) at their annual convention on May 1, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio.

This statewide award is given to those individuals who exhibit outstanding performance as an administrator of an adult or continuing education program, and is in honor of Ms. Stubbs-Davis, a longtime supporter of adult and continuing education.

“We are pleased that Bonnie has received this recognition,” states George Miller, President of Seeds of Literacy’s Board of Directors. “She does a phenomenal job of managing resources, advocating on behalf of students, and keeping Seeds on the forefront of adult education.”

Bonnie Entler is the Executive Director of Seeds of Literacy, an innovative, non-traditional adult literacy program that emphasizes lifelong learning at an individual pace. Under her guidance since 2003, Seeds has grown to serve more students than the average high school with an award-winning program. Ms. Entler and her staff have created a place where learning may be challenging, but isn’t impossible, and where everyone is met with dignity and respect.
