In-Person GED Tutoring to Resume 1/18/2022 at Seeds of Literacy

Boosters Required
After careful consideration, Seeds East and Seeds West will reopen TUESDAY, JANUARY 18. However, we want to do so SAFELY and reduce our odds of exposure as much as possible, President & CEO Bonnie Entler announced to stakeholders. Additional precautions for the reopening include:
“Booster shots are required to come in the classroom if it has been 6 months or more since you were last vaccinated.
Please bring your updated vaccine card so that we can update our records. If you haven’t gotten one yet, there are pharmacies close to both Seeds of Literacy locations that have free appointments available now – Walgreens and CVS.
New Students will also need to be fully vaccinated to come to New Student Orientation.
Please stay home if you are sick, no matter what.
If you have these symptoms, such as sneezing, coughing, a fever, please stay home and rest. We will be glad to have you back as soon as you feel better! To keep everyone safe, we will ask that people with visible symptoms of illness wait to return until their symptoms are gone.
Masks need to be worn at all times.
We need to make sure that everyone, students, tutors, and staff, are wearing their masks at all times, not just in the classroom, but in the entire building. Masks need to cover both the nose and mouth to work.
No food or drink in the classroom.
We can’t eat or drink with our masks on. With the new COVID variant, we need to be stricter than we were before. If you have health or dietary needs that require food or drink, please let us know and we can work out an option for you.”
