2018 CULTIVATOR IMPACT AWARD RECIPIENT: William Litzler

WILLIAM LITZLER

Also known as “That Math Guy,” William (Bill) Litzler has tutored hundreds of Seeds’ students — from fractions to polynomials — since 2005. He balances high expectations of his students with kindness and sharp good humor: an unbeatable combination that helps students succeed at one of their most challenging subjects.

Bill doesn’t do things halfway. His passion and commitment to adult education reach far beyond the classroom. Numerous volunteers, tutors, and supporters were first Bill Litzler’s friends and associates before generously sharing their resources with Seeds. Seeing the need for success beyond Seeds, Bill and his family created a scholarship for Seeds students at Tri-C.

It is with great gratitude that Seeds recognizes Bill’s generosity in raising awareness, graciously giving, and deeply believing in our students and their potential to Thrive!

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Your sponsorship raises our students to new heights. Becoming a Thrive! sponsor brings you the opportunity to invest in students who are:

  • Dedicated – students choose to enroll
  • Nontraditional – most are in their late 20s to early 40s
  • Limited in reading, math, and computer skills

The typical Seeds student is a woman of color raising children, who approaches Seeds in her 30s to work towards a High School Equivalency.

Our students are ripe for transformation. You are the perfect partner to help them Thrive!
