School Yourself, Learn On the Go!(Intern)
This is the next blog in a series of online learning app reviews by our summer intern, Michael Coles from Baldwin Wallace University.
Math can be scary for most people. From whole numbers to fractions, to derivatives and integrals in calculus, math is constantly around us, it’s everywhere!
The great thing about Math is that it can help you in so many ways, which makes it…dare we say it? Fun.
One website that can really help with practicing math for your HSE is Schoolyourself.org
Some learners have an easier time watching a video rather than reading text and this site perfectly addresses that. Subjects include:
- Algebra II
(Using this site is a lot easier than the math itself, promise!)
Step 1) Log on to https://www.schoolyourself.org/learn
Step 2) Explore A Subject
Once there, pick a math subject that you would like to learn more about. The photo below shows all the great subject categories you can choose from.
Step 3) Pick the topic
Next to the subject categories are specific topics in green. Click on one to see different lessons. For example, if I picked Geometry and wanted to learn about Triangles.
Step 4) Click and Learn
Once you click on your lesson category, a lesson will instantly pop up , complete with video and study questions!
It’s that easy and fun to “School Yourself” in math!
